Bookshelf Bits & Bobs

I have a pretty old bookshelf. It’s been here since we first moved in and that was over 14 years ago! (gasp!) I like my bookshelf but I don’t love it. I wish it’s a bit bigger and I really want to paint it white, but it’s old so I’m hoping to just┬ábuy a new one. Anywayyy, I try to decorate my shelves with little toys (which I have loads of!) to make it a bit more interesting. Here are a couple of things I have on┬áthere right now.

Here we have Drogon, Khal Drogo, and Khaleesi. Still need to get Viserion and Rhaegal!

Thor with my two of my favorite villains Harley Quinn, and Loki

The Hand of the king pin, Maleficent, Harry Potter coin bank and Harry Potter! River Song!

A light-up Marie, The Mystery Machine, and a London Tourist Bus

What do you decorate your bookshelves with? Or do you prefer to keep it JUST for books? čÖé

BookTube-A-Thon TBR

BookTube-A-Thon is a seven day reading marathon in the YouTube book community. It starts at 12am (wherever you are) on the 14th of June to the 21st. Basically, the idea is to read as much as you can while also completing the 7 challenges (and having fun!). There are also┬ávideo challenges where you upload an update video each day for seven days. That’s….really difficult to do considering you have to read then film, edit, and upload a┬ávideo each day.

Anyway, here are the reading challenges:

  1. A book with pictures
  2. Start and finish a series
  3. A book with red on the cover
  4. A book someone else picks out for you
  5. A book from the genre you’ve read the least this year
  6. A book to movie adaptation
  7. Read seven books

This is my first time participating and I’m really excited! So without further ado, here are the books I will be reading for the BookTube-A-Thon:

1. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button Graphic Novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald, illustrated by Kevin Cornellbook with pictures

2. Eon: Dragoneye Reborn and Eona: The Last Dragoneye (duology) by Allison Goodman

series

3. Dorothy Must Die by Danielle Page

4 & 6. The Perks of Being A Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky

5. Carrie by Stephen Kingbooktubeathon tbr

If I finish all these books and still have time for another to complete the seventh challenge, then I will probably be reading Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. That book has been sitting on my shelf for almost a year! If you want to participate, please do! This will be fun!

Good luck!

Welcome to Leah Miau

HI. I can’t remember how many times I’ve tried to blog, probably 1000 times. Exaggerating of course. This is my first WordPress blog, so everything about this site is pretty new to me. Compared to Blogger, this is really confusing. But I needed something new, something fresh, something that will probably make me want to blog more. I’m going to try to┬ábe a consistent blogger despite having zero readers. ~HAHAFOREVERALONE~ Anyway, here are a few things you may/may not want to know about me:

  • My name is Leah Noelle. Kidding. Not really Noelle, but it’s a name I absolutely love so I’ll pretend it’s mine
  • I absolutely adore cats. If you do too, we can be friends. Unless you’re homophobic and/or sexist, then scratch that
  • I love reading and photography
  • I live in a small country in Asia
  • I’m not a morning person but I wish I was
  • I might post a ton of photos of my Living Dead Dolls #creepydollscreepybabies
  • I might also post tons of photos of my cats and books
  • I was most behaved in kindergarten and the first grade

kthxbye. čÖé
